This week's
project for me was a layout using the Just Believe collection so I
decided to use a photo of my niece and nephew that was taken last year.
Aren't
they adorable! I'm sure my sister doesn't think so all the time. I
really enjoyed making this layout as the collection has so many papers
that work well together.
If
you want to use this as inspiration to make your own layouts head on
over to Kerry's store and grab some bargains so you can start work!

Just Believe Cards....
It's a new month which means a new collection to play with! I chose Just Believe for my projects as it has lots of real reds and greens which to me are the colours that represent christmas the best! I have made 4 cards for this week's project, 2 of which are basic cards and with the others I tried out some card designs that I hadn't made before. I'm amazed at how easy they were! I also decided to use some of the images I had coloured with my Copic Markers. They definitely brighten up any card!
How are you going with your christmas cards? Have you made a start on them yet? If so we'd love to see them, if not then head over to the store to check out all the christmas goodies that Kerry has.

More Christmas Ideas....
The
pizza boxes are 4" square and 1" thick but as with anything else, I'm
sure they can be made bigger or smaller depending on what you want to
put inside. I decided to hide my Bertie Beetle stash in mine and thought
what a cute little gift they'd make for someone even just as a nice gesture.
They'd also be a good size to fit a gift card into or maybe some
trinkets.....
Too
cute! I am now going to try and work out everyone's christmas presents
to be small enough to fit into a pizza box so we can walk in
on christmas day with cute little pizza boxes in our arms!!!!
How are you going with your christmas projects? Have you started yet? If not I suggest you head on over to Kerry's store
and start ordering your papers, etc as I have been seeing posts over
the last few days on facebook warning us that it's less than 100 days
away. We don't want to be imitating elves a few days before christmas
madly working away to get everything done now do we???? ;0)

Christmas Gift Ideas....
When I was putting together my project for this week I stumbled across a comment on Kerry's facebook group that got my attention. A group member had written:
I learnt how to make this box in a craft group I belong to around a month ago. When I saw the post on the facebook group I thought this would be the perfect present to give to a Teacher/Child Care Worker. The inside of the box is around 4" square and will fit lots of goodies inside. You can fit a whole box of those Cadbury Celebrations in there or you could be creative and fill it with home made cookies or desserts, lollies, little trinkets, anything!
I pondered the thought that if someone wanted to give me a gift like this then what would it be filled with? EASY! Mine would be filled with all my favourite Nespresso capsules!!!
I also decided to make a gate fold card to go with my box as I wanted to use the cute little baubles that came in the collectables pack so figured a matching card would work!
I'm looking for something I can make each of my kids child care workers for Xmas. Budget of about $10 each. Any ideas anyone??
Although a few members had already replied with suggestions, I already had a great idea for her in the works so asked her to check this blog out today in the hope she will find inspiration in what I have made.

I used the Turtle Dove collection for these projects including the paper, rubons and collectables. I also added a little seam binding ribbon, silver rhinestones, mounting foam, martha stewart corner punch and last but not least the Darling Marci Stamp that I coloured with my Copic Markers. You can find most of these products in Kerry's store so head over and check them out so you can start working on your own handmade Christmas gifts.
I'm going to try and make a few of these boxes for christmas presents. They are so easy to put together and even easier to decorate! I hope that the lady who posted the question found some inspiration for her gifts and hope she sends us a photo to share what she came up with! And I hope that Santa got my hint too and puts a pretty box filled with Nespresso capsules on my present list. After all, I have been a very good girl this year ;0)

Male themed birthday card....
Hi Everyone,
Just a quick post to share a card I made for my nephew who celebrated his 9th birthday this week.
I used the Kaisercraft Attitude! collection for the card and being my nephew loves skateboarding I decided to use the Back to School Luka stamp for the front of the card. I coloured it using my Copic Markers. All of these items are available in Kerry's store, just follow the links above.

Hi Everyone,
This month we're working with the latest release from Kaiser and this time I've made a few cards using the Turtle Dove collection....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Products used: Turtle Dove paper pad, Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, Kaisercraft 'Rouge' Sparklets, seam binding Ribbon, Couture Creations Victorian Square die, foam tape.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Products used:Turtle Dove paper pad, Turtle Dove 12x12 perforated specialty 'To Froms', Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, Ribbon, foam tape.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope this gave you a little inspiration for your christmas cards. I know it seems a little early to be worried about christmas but if you're like me and have good intentions to send everyone a card at christmas then now is the best time to start making them. My partner is 1 of 10 and we also have other family members and friends that I like to send cards to so I started around this time last year and by the end of November I had made around 20 cards. After that I spent a week slowly writing in each then addressing them so that they were sent out to everyone by the 2nd week of December. I really enjoy sending cards at christmas and love making my own!
You can find lots of Christmas goodies in Kerry's store so head on over and check them out so you can get a good head start on all your christmas projects!

Turtle Dove Layout....
The Christmas collections from Kaisercraft have just been released and although they are all beautiful collections I fell in love with the Turtle Dove one as soon as I saw it. Such beautiful deep reds and greens that definitely remind me of christmas!
All Kaisercraft products used on the layout are from the Turtle Dove collection.
Paper: Partridge, Geese & Golden Rings.
Embellishments: Collectables.
Other: MFT Dienamics Dizzy Doily Die & Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.
You can find the Turtle Dove collection in the store so head on over there and check it out. You'll also find the other 2 new christmas collections there so you can start planning all your christmas layouts and projects now rather than in the middle of the christmas craziness!
