12 X 12 Kaisercraft True Romance Collection

I really love the Kaisercraft True Romance Collection.  I started by using the 6 by 6 Kaisercraft paper pad and mounted my  photo on this paper.  I then inked around the edges of the matting paper. I used a distressing tool around the 12 x 12 Kaisercraft paper.
The finished product. This page will be going into close friends 50th birthday present for her sister.
The Title was done using the Kaisercraft True Romance Sticker Sheet.  I love how the individual words are one sticker.  The small flowers are Kaisercraft flowers.  The bird cage is part of the Kaisercraft True Romance Collection.  The butterflies are made from coloured burlap.

The embellishments are from the Kaisercraft True Romance Collection. These are so versatile, that they can be used for pages, cards and off the page creations.
I love the Kaisercraft Doily that I used to finish off the corner of my layout.
All of these supplies can be purchased from http://kerryscraftycardsandcuts.com.au/store/.
I hope you enjoy the Kaisercraft True Romance Collection as much as I have.  Paula.

Kaisercraft Holly Bright Collection

I have created this 12 by 12 page using the Kaisercraft Holly Bright Collection.  I used the Kaisercraft Holly Bright Sticker Sheet for the title, and also the brown border strip and tree on the left hand side of the page.  The Wood Veneer trees by Studio Calico, I have used as embellishments on the bottom of the page.  I also used my distressing tool on all edges of the Kaisercraft papers.  All Kaisercraft Holly Bright Collection and Studio Calico supplies can be purchased at http://kerryscraftycardsandcuts.com.au.  I hope you get as excited as I did using the Kaisercraft Holly Bright Collection.  Paula

Summer Breeze layout step-by-step

Hi , I was very nervous and excited at the same time using Kaisercrafts
Summer Breeze Collection.  I love the bright colours. It was a challenge to find a photo to compliment the papers.  This is a photo of one of my grandaughters.  I feel the photo fits the radiant colours of the Kaisercraft Sunmer Breeze Collection.

Okay to begin your  own 12" by 12" layout.  I used the Kaisercraft Summer Breeze Collection Sprout paper (P1168)  First cut off the edge which has the name of the paper (I have mentioned this as I quite often forget to do this)  I then used a distressing tool around the edges of the paper.  I did random tears and folded up a couple of edges.  I then used a border punch to punch out the Kaisercraft Summer Breeze paper Entwine (P1169)  I then framed my photo with a page from the Kaisercraft Summer Breeze 61/2" paper pad.  I also used a 2 inch straight cut under the Kaisercraft Summer Breeze entwime paper (this matches the paper the photo is framed on).  The orange paper is also from the Kaisercraft Summer Breeze paper pad.  The embellishments on the page are from the Kaisercraft Summer Breeze Collectables that complement the papers beautifully.  The flowers used are Kaisercraft Olive Mini paper blooms and Kaisercraft Coconut paper blooms.  I also experimented with the Kaisercraft lace.  I stamped one side with an orange stamp pad and the other side with a olive stamp pad.  I feel this effect matched the papers. I placed the lace on the paper by just folding the lace, I then glued a Kaisercraft paper flower onto the fold.  All of the scrapbooking supplies used at available for purchase from Kerry's store HERE.

Forget-me-not Layout

Hi everyone

Just wanted to share my layout for this month's Design Team Project.  This month I got to play with one of Kaisercraft's new paper collections, Forget-Me-Not.

I did find it a bit difficult to work with at first but I'm really happy with the end result.  The photo in this layout includes my favourite girls, my little one (at her 2nd Birthday party) with my two nieces.  This is one of my absolute favourite photos.  The only thing to make it perfect would be to have my little angel (Lara, now sleeping in heaven) included, so I added the little wooden flourish butterfly to symbolise her.

I hope this layout inspires you and remember for all of your scrapbooking, papercrafting needs, please visit www.kerryscraftycardsandcuts.com.au/store/  and I know that Kerry will be only to happy to help.

Thanks

S xx

Christmas Layout....

This week's project for me was a layout using the Just Believe collection so I decided to use a photo of my niece and nephew that was taken last year.

Aren't they adorable! I'm sure my sister doesn't think so all the time. I really enjoyed making this layout as the collection has so many papers that work well together.

If you want to use this as inspiration to make your own layouts head on over to Kerry's store and grab some bargains so you can start work!

Butterfly Kisses - Layout

Hi everyone!

The design team so lovingly let me play with the very girlie and cute collection, Kaisercraft's Butterfly Kisses this month and I couldn't be happier!!  I love the bright and bold colours.  At first they can seem a bit in your face but as you start playing with them they are very easy to use.

I had seen a similar layout in a Australian Scrapbook Creation Magazine by Maria Featon, so I decided to use it for inspiration.  I really like the different strips of patterned paper and the how the layout is layered with different types of papers from the collection.

For this layout, I used a beautiful photograph of my little Miss, which was taken last year.  I think the black and white photograph looks great with the colourful background and embellishments.

Its difficult to tell, but in this photograph, my little Miss is fascinated by a fabric flower, so I thought it fitting to add flowers as an embellishment.

I have finally started using distressing techniques in my layouts....at first I found it quite difficult to do, but now I'm loving how it all looks and how easy it is to fix any little mishaps!!

So if I have inspired you to use this beautiful collection, then please head over to

for all of your scrapbooking and papercrafting supplies!!

Thanks
Sandra :)

Twig & Berry Layout

Hi all,

I wanted to share with you, my latest layout using Kaisercraft's Twig & Berry Paper Collection.

I've been working hard at trying to simplify my layouts (something very new to me!!).  I love this Christmas Collection, the colours are rich and shout Christmas!

This photo was taken a few years ago of my kidlets and its one of my favourites.

The flowers I made using punched shapes and a technique I recently learnt. I finished them off with beautiful fabric covered brads (from on of Kaisercrafts older Christmas Collections - Bella, which I had in my stash).

Please check out http://www.kerryscraftycardsandcuts.com.au for all of your scrapbooking supplies.  Kerry has other gorgeous Christmas Collections available too.

Well, I must go and pick up kidlets from school but I'm hoping to get some more scrapping time in tonight!!

Hope you have a great day.

All Kaisercraft products used on the layout are from the Turtle Dove collection.

Paper: Partridge, Geese & Golden Rings.
Embellishments: Collectables.
Other: MFT Dienamics Dizzy Doily Die & Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

You can find the Turtle Dove collection in the store so head on over there and check it out. You'll also find the other 2 new christmas collections there so you can start planning all your christmas layouts and projects now rather than in the middle of the christmas craziness!

Save the Date

Hi everyone! It's Alanna here today to share with you a layout I have made using the gorgeous Save the Date collection from Kaisercraft.

This collection is so versatile and (once I find the time) will be perfect for cards for both young and old, male and female.

I used some of the 12" papers as well as the sticker sheet, epoxy stickers and collectables. And a coordinating sheet (or two) of vanilla cardstock. I even did a little hand stitching using a coordinating thread colour.

Sorry there's no photograph in the layout just yet. When we (my siblings and I) were younger, Mum would make our birthday cakes each year. I was planning on scanning in a bunch of those photos and doing a collage of sorts for this layout, but since I'm in the midst of going through the old photo albums and putting them in acid free albums (which I have been doing for almost a year now), photos are all over the place! Sorry... but hopefully you can use your imagination!

Thanks for looking at my project today, and don't forget to stop by the online store to see these, and so many other, great products!
