Fine & Sunny Collection

Hi everyone, Sandra here.  This week I got to choose my own project for the Design Team.  I thought I would share a gift set that I have been making for a friend.  I decided to make a small trinket box with her name on it as well as a matching mini canvas and gift card.

Kaisercrafts Fine & Sunny Collection has been sitting in my stash for a little while now, so I dug it out and couldn't wait to get started.  I love using all the little collectables that are part of the collections now.

Here's the little box (15cmx15cmx7.5cm):

This is the mini canvas (10cmx10cm):

This layout is of my oldest son Cooper when he was 6 months old. I used the Kaisercraft collection Technologic.I love this collection as its perfect for boy layouts!

Remember you have till Sunday 7th August midnight to get the entries onto my Facebook wall to be in the running for one of 2 $15 shopping vouchers on my store! Winner will be announced on Tuesday 9th on the blog.

July Challenge Example: Card

Hi all, Sandra here, just wanted to share the card I made using this month's Challenge layout.  I've always found it difficult making cards for boys/men but with the use of Kaisercrafts Attitude collection and this challenge, it made it easy for me to create this card for my cousin's upcoming 21st.

Hope you like it!!

Miss Match Card

Hi all! Well we have come to the end of our very first design team week here on the blog! Haven't the projects been fantastic! I hope it has helped you all get some creative juices flowing. I am finishing off today with a card made from the Miss Match Collection.

This collection I will admit is not one I would normally work with, because of its vintage look. So I struggled to start with but as time went on I was really happy with what I came up with.

I used the Miss Match Paper Pad, Miss Match Collectables, the Polaroids that are part of the accessories in this collection and a few pearls to make the card! They can all be found over in my store at here

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping over this week. Next week is Challenge week, and Alannna has a great one to start us off with, so can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Happy scrapping

Miss Match - OTP

Hi this is Sandra and here is my first OTP project for Kerryscraftycardsandcuts Design Team.  I am so nervous and excited about this first design and writing this blog.

Kerry has a fantastic online store, where you will find the collection below as well as so many other gorgeous goodies, so make sure that you pop over and check it out.

I chose to make Kaisercrafts Desk Tidy, hoping that it will inspire me to "tidy" my scraproom!!

I love the new paper collection Miss Match from Kaisercraft, the colours and florals are beautiful and have a vintage look.  As I was working on this design, I was already thinking of all the other things that I want to create with this collection.  I hope that my design inspires you too!

                                         Products Used:

                                         Kaisercrafts - Desk Tidy

                                                                    - Trash
                                                                    - Odds
                                                                    - Sticker Sheet
                                         Embellishments:   - Collectables

My all time favourite embellishment (for this week!!) are doilies and I was so happy to see that Miss Match had them included in the collection!  I love how they look all layered together.

Well, I hope you like my first DT project and I can't wait to get working on my next assignment!

Attitude! Card

Hi everyone! It's Alanna here to share with you a card I made using one of the new releases from Kaisercraft - Attitude! I thought I would stick with the "grungy" style of the collection and make a thank you card for a male colleague.

I used the following products, which you can find in Kerry's online store:

Kaisercraft Attitude! Collection:
- Paper Pad
- Collectables

Kaisercraft Cardstock:
- Licorice

Tim Holtz Distress Ink:
- Black Soot

Memento Ink
- Tuxedo Black

And some close ups...

I am in love with the glossy paper (the red and the yellow). Adds such a fun bit of dimension. I have backed all my pieces with licorice kaisercard, and added a bit of further grunge by inking the edges of the papers with black soot distress ink.

I hope you like my card and it inspires you to create something with a little bit of grunge! Thanks for looking and be sure to head on over to Kerry's store to see the rest of this great collection.
