A Retreat achieves so much more!

Hi all!

I have just returned from a retreat, run by a fellow SA scrapbooking business Seaside Scrapping on the weekend with Alanna. It was a great weekend and i was amazed at how much i achieved!

The first is the NEW release from kaisercraft Blast off! I love this boys range and it was so much fun to work with, the cute monsters in the collectables made me smile and i cant wait to make more cards from this collection, and i also have a project in mind!

This collection has been very popular and can be found over on my website HERE.

I also decided to give the NEW Kaisercraft True Romance Collection a go! Lots of girly pink in this one!

Lastly, I have been in desperate need of some new baby cards both boy and girl and took along some Echo Park Bundle of Joy Boy supplies! I am totally in love with this collection and could have easily have scrapped some more! I have so far managed to make 11 cards from a paper pad, 12x12 journal cards, and a sticker sheet. There is stil plenty to keep me going! The collection can be found in my store HERE. I still have some 12x12 papers and sticker sheets to add as well!

I also managed to get some gift tags from the Kaisercraft collection summer breeze completed as well! So all up it was a successful weekend and hopefully another one is on its way again soon as it was great to get some more cards to add to my selling stash!

KAISERCRAFT Sears & Sons collection-Tri fold album

I'm back! Kids are finally asleep(after a debate tonight!) and I have had time to finish off my little creation. I'm not sure why I decided to start this but after making the cards I thought it might be nice to give my dad something a little more than a card on father's day! I have made one of these before and loved the simplicity of it(you can check the other one out on my Facebook page) so decided to give it a go again with a gift for dad! Again I have had so much fun making this and looking at my scraps draw think that this may be a great way to use some of them up! So here is my little special card, come album for dad.

The Front of Album

For the people who have not seen one of these before it is basically 2 tri fold cards joined together and a cover and back added to make it an album! Excuse the bad photos, it's obviously late :)

Miss Match Card

Hi all! Well we have come to the end of our very first design team week here on the blog! Haven't the projects been fantastic! I hope it has helped you all get some creative juices flowing. I am finishing off today with a card made from the Miss Match Collection.

This collection I will admit is not one I would normally work with, because of its vintage look. So I struggled to start with but as time went on I was really happy with what I came up with.

I used the Miss Match Paper Pad, Miss Match Collectables, the Polaroids that are part of the accessories in this collection and a few pearls to make the card! They can all be found over in my store at here

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping over this week. Next week is Challenge week, and Alannna has a great one to start us off with, so can't wait to see what you all come up with!

New Kaisercraft Rockpool Release Sneak Peak

Can you believe it, I actually have had a chance to make a card tonight...hopefully I will have more of these days in the coming weeks! Tonight I have a sneak peak of the new release for May of the Kaisercraft Collection Rockpool..this collection is just adorable, and I had to use this paper sample as seen as it had come in the mail today! To make the background I used Tim Holtz Evergreen Bough and dabbed it on with a plastic bag, I then dipped plastic bag into water to smudge the ink and blend together, finished it off with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist Lilypad. I then cut Quickutz seahorse 2x2 die with foam and used Tim Holtz Walnut stain to stamp the seahorse onto the card. Finished it with a sediment from My creative Time Gift Card Sentiments set, Lifestyle 2x2 coral, a button and a piece of paper string from Green tara. I just loved how it turned out! If you live in Australia you can check out my website at www.kerryscraftycardsandcuts.com.au on Thursday and the New releases should be available for preorder!

Happy Scrapping!
